Less Than Truck Load/Partial Truck Load (LTL/PTL)

Shipping modest amounts of freight are best done via LTL, or less than truckload freight (typically 1 to 5 pallets and weighing up to 6,000 pounds per shipment). This is the most economical option because subsequent shipments will fill the empty space. LTL and FTL are combined to form PTL or partial truckload freight. Your freight must weigh between 5 and 16 pallets or 6,000 and 27,000 pounds to qualify as an option.
